- Experimentation: Dive into a world of materials including acrylic paints, inks, collage elements, fabric, and found objects. There are no limits—bring your own ideas or just see where it leads you!
- Colour & Texture: Learn how to layer colours, use texture mediums, and combine different techniques for stunning visual effects. You’ll be encouraged to play and discover new favourites.
- Creative Guidance: I will be there to guide you offering tips, demonstrations and inspiration, but you set the course. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting out, this workshop is all about personal exploration.

Mixed Media for Soft Pastels Workshop

Discover your unique artistic voice. We will be experimenting with inks, oils, collage, mark making, charcoal, pencil, acrylic, watercolours....you name it we use it.
This workshop is designed to let your inhibition's loose. This workshop will release your inner passion, creative expressions and just let you loose to create wonderfully exciting paintings. All techniques practiced can be used under Soft Pastels OR stand alone as abstract paintings. The choice is yours
You will take away a plethora of sample projects ready for your creative process to begin.

ANIMAL PORTRAIT USING BLACK PAN PASTEL
28th & 29th January
Pan Pastels are a unique and versatile medium ideal for creating soft, luminous portraits. Unlike traditional stick pastels, Pan Pastels come in cake-like pans, allowing for easy blending and layering using specialized sponges and applicators. In this workshop students will be using only ONE pan pastel (BLACK) along with a Sofft (TM) Tool.
We will be covering sketching, tonal application and using Pan Pastels.
